According to reports in Italy, Napoli aren’t interested in selling Allan. The club’s president Aurelio Di Laurentiis made the revelation, and also stated that he feels like the midfielder is worth around €90 million. The 27 year old is currently under contract with the club until at least 2023, and he only seems to be getting better and better as the years go on. Allan was instrumental in helping Napoli to pick up a point against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this week, which only helped to raise his stock even further.
Napoli came close to dethroning Juventus in Serie A last season but couldn’t quite get their title push over the line, and if they’re serious about contending over the next few years, they’ll need to keep hold of their star players. Italian football has progressed massively over the last decade or so, and it’ll likely only get better and better.
