Napoli offer Ruiz extension

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have made an offer to Fabian Ruiz that will see him sign an extension to his current contract. There is a great deal of interest in the midfielder from across the depths of European football, with Barcelona and Real Madrid being at the forefront of that. 

Napoli have always been a bit of a tough nut to crack when it comes to signing their top stars, and they aren’t about to roll over for a side like Real or Barca. They know the value of Ruiz and instead of putting forward a price, which either side would inevitably stump up the cash to pay, they want to first see what kind of loyalty Ruiz would give to the club – and how much, exactly, it would cost. 

For now, with the January transfer window being right around the corner, there is a lot of uncertainty in the air.
