Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami is likely to be among the players expected to leave Stadio San Paolo at the end of the season, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
Napoli officials plan to seriously reinforce the squad in the summer, with up to five high-profile players expected to arrive at the end of the season.
At the same time, they will have to offload several quality players in order to make way for new signings.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the likes of Valon Behrami,Miguel Britos and Goran Pandev are all expected to quit Stadio San Paolo in the summer transfer window.
Once considered a key member of the squad, Valon Behrami is no longer indispensable to Rafael Benitez and this could be the right time to cash in on the player who has a long list of suitors among Europe’s top clubs.
Meanwhile, neither Miguel Britos nor Goran Pandev feature in the Spaniard’s first team plans for next season, meaning they will be offloaded as well.
Napoli will have a chance to win a trophy this season as they battle Fiorentina in Coppa Italia final, with the Azzurri 8/13 to lift the title.
