Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Napoli are considering a summer move for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The Polish shot-stopper will end his loan spell with AS Roma at the end of the season and it appears that the Giallorossi have no plans to exercise the purchase option as they will rather make Brazilian goalie Alisson the new number one.
And with Arsenal not too keen on bringing Szczesny back to the Emirates, chances are the 27-year-old will be made available for sale.
According to reports, Napoli could offer the Pole an escape route from North London as they are in the market for Pepe Reina’s successor.
The Spaniard has failed to impress this season and given that he has just another year left on his contract, a new goalkeeper is expected to arrive in the summer.
Napoli will attempt to pip AS Roma to the second-place finish in final six games and they are priced at 2/5 to see off Sassuolo on the road.
