Napoli are weighing up move for AZ Alkmaar full-back Simon Busk Poulsen, according to Sky Sport Italia.
With Andrea Dossena set to leave San Paolo this summer, the Azzurri are searching for a new wide left player and they seem to have set their sights on the Danish international.
Despite playing a left-back at AZ Alkmaar, Poulsen is well known for his attacking forays down the left and Walter Mazzarri is confident he would be a perfect solution for a full-back position in his 3-5-2 formation.
Napoli were recently linked with a move for Lyon defender Aly Cissokho, but it looks as though the Azzurri decided to look elsewhere due to the heavy competition for the Frenchman.
The Danish defender earlier suggested he was ready to leave AZ Alkmaar for greener pastures, and Ajax Amsterdam were the only club to openly express their interest in the player.
Poulsen has started both games for Denmark at the European Championship and fared really well against the likes of Arjen Robben and Nani.
