Napoli are lining up a move for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
With Edinson Cavani edging closer to a summer exit, the Azzurri officials are stepping up their efforts to sign a new high-profile striker.
They have been looking at the likes of Leandro Damiao, Marco Sau and Pablo Osvaldo, but it looks as though Edin Dzeko has moved to the top of their hit-list.
The Bosnian is clearly unhappy with the lack of playing time at Etihad and has made it clear that he would like to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
Dzeko has already proved he can score goals on regular basis at the highest level and he should be able to slot straight into the starting line-up at Stadio San Paolo.
The 27-year-old has scored 28 goals in 73 Premier League matches at Manchester City, which is a decent return considering he only started 36 of those games.
