Napoli set to sell Allan

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Italian giants Napoli have made the decision to try and sell midfielder Allan during the upcoming summer transfer window.

It’s always seemed as if the window was going to be a big one for the club this year, with a great deal of turnaround expected. They haven’t quite been able to keep up the kind of pace many were expecting from them in Serie A this season, and as such, the board is ready to pull the trigger on some changes – both with incoming stars and outgoing ones.

Allan is reportedly a big target, as of this writing, for Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti. The Toffees have shown some improvement since the veteran boss arrived at Goodison Park, but there’s still a long way to go before they can be viewed as legitimate European contenders once again.

Whether or not Allan is the missing piece of that equation, though, remains to be seen.
