Serie A leaders Napoli are set to wrap up the deal for IFK Goteborg goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg, according to Expressen.
The Azzurri are expected to sign the 18-year-old in the January window and then loan him back to IFK Goteborg until the end of the season.
According to reports, Napoli will pay just over €4 million for the talented shot-stopper in what will be the record sale for the Swedish club.
IFK Goteborg had earlier rejected an offer from Watford and an unnamed German club, with the player and his representatives ultimately choosing the Azzurri.
Dahlberg’s agent is currently in Naples, putting the finishing touches on the January transfer.
Despite his fragile age, the Sweden Under-21 goalkeeper was in excellent form last season, making 29 league appearances.
