The highly sought-after Lazio striker Keita Balde Diao has new admirers who have already made a concrete move in effort to beat the competition to the signature of Lazio starlet.
Juventus and Inter Milan were believed to be among the clubs in pursue of the highly-rated forward, but the Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Napoli have stepped up their interest with an official offer.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is said to have proposed and offer worth €22 million in effort to beat the competitors to Keita’s signature.
Lazio president previously revealed in an interview with Il Messaggero that Juventus have submitted a €15 million offer which was immediately rejected as insufficient and undervaluing for the player.
The 22-year-old Senegal international has enjoyed a breakthrough season in Serie A which saw him score 16 goals in 31 appearances.
Keita impressed with his overall quality performances, proving to be one of the hottest properties in European football.
