Bordeaux defender Youssouf Sabaly is heading towards Napoli, the Italian media reports.
Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that the 25-year-old full-back is the subject of a transfer offer said to be worth €15 million.
Napoli and Bordeaux are said to have already reached an agreement over a summer move for the player who is coming off from a World Cup appearance with Senegal.
Sabaly is currently suffering from a minor knee problem which did not prevent him from travelling to Russia but it’s an argument Partenopei are using in efforts to get a discount on the player’s services.
The Senegal defender made 35 Ligue 1 outings last season for Bordeaux, mostly performing at a right-back position.
Sabaly can be deployed in a number of positions at the back and his versatility has been the main trait that caught Napoli’s attention in the first place.
