Gerard Deulofeu is set to leave Barcelona yet again with return to Italy on the cards for former Everton wide man.
The 23-year-old Spanish international struggled to break into the Barcelona first team this season and is likely to see his chances even more limited with the return of Ousmane Dembele and the arrival of Philippe Coutinho.
The flamboyant winger is no stranger to life in Italy having played for AC Milan back in 2017 and reports from Rai Sport are suggesting that Deulofeo could be set for a move to Napoli.
The Partenopei have presented Deulofeu with a five-year deal worth €2 million a year plus €500,000 in bonuses.
Barcelona will not stand in his way and are ready to sanction the move which still depends on Simone Verdi’s potential arrival, it is being suggested.
Gerard Deulofeu is said to have accepted the Napoli terms but will not shed any tears if a deal doesn’t go through in the end since he is in no shortage of options with Inter Milan said to be interested in acquiring his services as well.
