Serie A giants Napoli have launched an assault on Barcelona full-back Adriano Correia, Marca has revealed.
The Azzurri are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and they believe the Brazilian would be a very good addition to the squad.
According to Marca, the player’s agent is already in Italy, negotiating a summer switch to Stadio San Paolo.
The same source has suggested that Barcelona have no plans to sell at the moment, especially if Daniel Alves leaves the club in the summer.
Meanwhile, the Azzurri are also showing interest in Argentine defender Javier Mascherano, as Rafael Benitez would love to be reunited with the player in Italy.
Adriano Correia has been playing second fiddle to Jordi Alba at Camp Nou, while he has also deputized for Dani Alves on the right flank.
He has amassed a total of 88 La Liga appearances since arriving from Sevilla and scored 9 goals in the process.
