Napoli tease Ibrahimovic deal

“[Ibrahimovic] is a friend, I met him in Los Angeles not as a footballer but as a normal person because we were in the same hotel,” he said.

“I invited him over for dinner with his wife and kids and we had an amazing time. It would be my wish to see him in Napoli colours, it’s more than a suggestion and it depends on him, it’s been talked about for a few months now.”

Those are the words of Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis who has suggested that the potential purchase of Zlatan Ibrahimovic could become a reality.

Ibrahimovic’s future beyond the current season is unknown right now as he attempts to drag LA Galaxy kicking and screaming towards MLS Cup glory. As you can imagine there are plenty of clubs believed to be interested, but only one will get the honour of having the Swedish veteran gracing them with his presence.
