It looks like it is becoming a never ending saga. Nicolas Pepe’s future is still far from decided and the Ivorian’s new club is still a mystery. After an incredible season with LOSC Lille, Pepe was already expected to leave the club and move to a team with bigger goals and more money, but nothing has been done just yet.
First of them all was Bayern Munich. The Bavarian giants were reportedly very interested in getting Pepe, not only because of his great season with Lille, but also because of his natural ability of playing at right wing. Considering Arjen Robben just finished his career, that was a space Bayern needed to fill out properly. However, somewhere along the way, they changed their minds and Pepe remained at Lille.
Now Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli is considering making a move, according to Corriere dello Sport. Pepe had 22 goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 last season.
