Napoli have emerged as another club on a very long list of those keen on signing Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they are preparing a bid of over €35 million for his services. The Serie A will have had a very good chance to see and feel the talent of the 19-year-old striker first-hand as they recently played a double feature against Salzburg in the Champions League, in which Haaland scored three times.
Given the young Norwegian’s incredible numbers this season – 26 goals in 18 games in all competitions so far, he has been linked with a host of top clubs across Europe and Salzburg demanding a huge price was also mentioned. But more recently, it came out that he was likely to move to RB Leipzig, a club well-known for developing young talent potentially in need of a new striker soon, and that may have given hope to Napoli as well.
