These days, there are a lot of transfer rumours in regards to Barcelona. The Spanish champions maybe do not know if they will be able to continue their season any time soon, but it looks like a lot of business could happen at the Camp Nou this summer. After we reported yesterday about Barcelona’s interested in Layvin Kurzawa, more stories are there to be told about the left-back position.
Now it looks like Napoli have made contact with Blaugrana. According to Sport, the Partenopei are interested to sign Junior Firpo this summer. The left-back joined Barca last summer from Real Betis, but has failed to make impression. Jordi Alba is still the king of that position at Barcelon and the younger player that Firpo is is not satisfied with sitting on the bench regularly. That is what Napoli want to make the best out of the situation.
With Barcelona interested in Kurzawa and reportedly not so far from joining the Spanish side, Firpo would become the third left-back and therefore him leaving the club would be almost a certainty.
