According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A side Napoli are interested in the possibility of signing former Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente – but only if they can’t secure their top targets. Napoli are said to want both James Rodriguez and Mauro Icardi, but neither deal is looking all too feasible as both have offers from other clubs too.
If they do fall through and they turn their attention towards Llorente, it is believed that he would arrive on a free transfer. The Italian window is set to close on September 2nd so they’ve got move than enough time to get the deal over the finish line, but the real question lies within whether or not he’d be interested in the move.
Despite his age Llorente has seemingly been in high demand if reports are to be believed, so there’s a decent chance he could commit to moving elsewhere.
