According to a recent report from Marca, Napoli are interested in the possibility of signing Real Madrid defender Theo Hernandez during the summer transfer window. The 21 year old has been out on loan with Real Sociedad throughout the course of the current season, where he has been able to find some renewed success. As such he has a series of clubs sniffing around with the hope being to sign him on a permanent basis, but for now, it seems like Napoli could be in the driving seat.
It’s no secret that Zinedine Zidane wants to initiate some kind of overhaul during the summer transfer window, and if that does prove to be the case, fringe players will almost certainly be sacrificed in order to bring in even bigger stars. Hernandez is still pretty young and if he can prove that he’s able to get the job done abroad, then perhaps Real will look into the possibility of getting him back in a few years time.
