The agent of Napoli full-back Juan Camilo Zuniga claims that his client is wanted by a number of clubs outside Italy.
The Colombian international has two-years left on his deal at San Paolo and is regarded an important member of the starting line-up, but he was surprisingly linked with a summer exit.
It is no secret that Napoli are searching for a new left-back, which means they could decide to cash in on Zuniga.
Should the Azzurri decide to sell their prized asset, the experienced full-back would have no shortage of offers, his representative has revealed.
“You would have to ask the club if they have any plans to let go of him, but I can confirm that there is great interest in him from foreign clubs,” agent Riccardo Calleri said to Radio CRC.
“For now he is happy at Napoli, but I can’t comment on his future.”
The 26-year-old began his career at Colombian side Atletico Nacional and spent five years there before joining Siena in the summer of 2008.
Following the impressive debut season in Serie A, Zuniga made an €8.5 million switch to San Paolo and has since scored 4 goals in 108 Serie A games for the Azzurri.
