Keylor Navas left Real Madrid and joined Paris Saint-Germain a few days ago, and he claims he has come to the French capital with ambitions.
PSG have been the dominant force in French football for quite some time now, and as is the case with Bayern Munich in Germany or Juventus in Italy, domestic accolades don’t seem to cut it anymore. It’s the Champions League they want, the trophy they need to be taken as seriously as the top clubs in the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga.
As for the Costa Rican goalkeeper, he first intends win over the hearts of PSG fans, praising their passion as known across Europe. Having won three Champions League trophies with Real, he believes he can win it with the French champions too. It’s all about a new adventure and new challenges for him.
Meanwhile, Alphonse Areola has gone the other way – from PSG to Real, on loan.
