Navas honoured by Real interest

(GSM) – Jesus Navas is delighted to be linked with Real Madrid.

Los Merengues have targeted the Sevilla winger as a summer signing.

Navas’s excellent season at Sevilla has drawn attention of Real who are hoping to sign the Spain international in the next transfer period.

“It’s an honor that a team like Real Madrid is set on me, but I am calm, I only think in the day to day and try to enjoy playing for my team (Sevilla),” said Navas.

Real defender Sergio Ramos already said he hoped his club would sign his former team-mate at Sevilla.

“He is a great player who is showing he is ready to play here and is on par with other major players,” Ramos said last week.

“His arrival would do a lot for this team.

“If I had to choose, I prefer him to (Bayern München’s Franck) Ribery.”
