Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new six-year contract with Leicester City, according to Sky Sports.
The twenty-one-old signed for the Foxes in January 2017 – eight months after the East Midlands side lifted the Premier League trophy – for £14m from Belgian side Genk.
He has played sixty-two times in all competitions, scoring four goals and has been named Leicester’s Young Player of the Year in each of the last two campaigns.
He was part of the Nigeria squad that attended this summer’s World Cup finals in Russia, playing every minute of their three group games taking him nineteen senior caps.
Having lost their opening game of the season, Claude Puel’s side beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Next up for the 2016 Champions is a trip to their manager’s former side Southampton and the away win can be backed at a price of 11/5.
