Tanguy Ndombele has arrived to England in order to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move from Olympique Lyon to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports.
Spurs were long pursuing the 22-year-old midfielder and reportedly had several attempts rebuffed by the French club, but last week they finally managed to agree a deal in the region of £65 million.
The north London club had a long dry spell in terms of incoming transfer, with their last acquisition being Lucas Moura who arrived in January 2018. Despite that, manager Mauricio Pochettino has built a team that reached the Champions League final this year. In the meantime, they have completed their new stadium, and now they are ready to spend in the market again. Should this deal be completed, Ndombele will become their record signing.
On the other hand, Lyon are set to make a huge profit, having signed him for £7 million only last summer.
