Sevilla and Real Madrid have closed the deal that will tie Alvaro Negredo to the Andalusian club for the coming five seasons.
Negredo is set to arrive in Sevilla on Thursday evening, in order to undergo a medical on Friday. Assuming the results are positive, the player will be presented at 1pm local time.
The 24-year-old striker spent the last two years at Almeria after leaving Madrid in 2007, but Real excercised a buyback option of about 5 million Euros to have the player return to Bernabeu this summer.
As it turned out, it was a lucrative move for Real who are said to receive 14 million Euros from Sevilla; a profit of nine million. This time as well, a buyback option has been included in the deal.
