Norwich City manager Alex Neil has said that he wants to keep hold of Cameron Jerome following interest from Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough, according to Sky Sports.
The twenty-nine year old moved to Carrow Road from Stoke City in the summer of 2014, and has thus far racked up fifty-nine appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring twenty-three goals.
Two of those goals came in last season’s Championship Play-Off final victory over Middlesbrough, while he has two in the Premier League so far this campaign.
Jerome spent some time at the Riverside Stadium just over a decade ago but moved on to Cardiff City before making an appearance for the Teesside outfit.
Internationally, he has been capped ten times for England U21s though he is yet to make an appearance at senior level.
Norwich travel to Watford on Saturday afternoon and Jerome can be backed at 7/1 to open the scoring.
