Nelson breaks silence on Arsenal future

“As a person and as a player, I wanted to take the next step. At the moment I’m very happy here. I’m playing, I’m scoring, but I’m an Arsenal player at the end of the day, so I have to stay and do my job here, then wherever football takes me I’ll go.”

Those are the words of Reiss Nelson, who is currently on loan at Hoffenheim from Arsenal. The teenage sensation has enjoyed a really bright spell over in Germany, with many questioning whether or not he’d move there on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell.

As you can see he left things pretty open to interpretation, and from this point on, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he can keep on this current run of form. Logic suggests he will, given the recent success of Brits in Bundesliga, but you just never know.
