Serie A fallen giants Inter Milan are looking to bolster their ranks during the January window and highly-rated Benfica starlet Nelson Semedo appears to be topping the January wish list.
The 22-year-old Portugal left-back has been in impressive form this season and is already on the agenda of several Europe’s top clubs.
The arrival of Stefano Pioli has apparently seen Inter revive their interest for the Portugal international however.
The Italian daily La Gazetta dello Sport claim that Nerazzurri are considering the possibility of making a January move for the player who is contracted to Benfica until 2021.
Semedo has a €60 million release clause which appears to be the biggest stumbling block for all potential suitors, but Nerazzurri are hoping their new owners would be willing to break the bank in January in order to bring much needed reinforcements to Stadio San Siro.
Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for Nelson Semedo who has this season made 10 Primeira Liga appearances, adding one goal to his name during that time.
