Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that veteran defender Nemanja Vidic could leave Inter as early as January.
The former Manchester United captain arrived on a free transfer in the summer as club’s marquee signing, putting pen to paper on a lucrative three-year deal.
However, the Serbian centre-back in turn enjoyed a nightmare start to his career in Italy, committing a number of costly mistakes.
As a result, the 33-year-old was dropped from the starting line-up and did not feature in the last two league matches.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter chiefs hope to offload Vidic in the January transfer window, and cut their losses on the former Manchester United star.
Nemanja Vidic has been left out of the squad for Europa League fixture against Qarabag, where the Nerazzurri are 14/5 to emerge victorious.
The experienced defender is out with a bout of flu, and he will probably be back in contention for Monday’s clash with Chievo.
