Milan defender Alessandro Nesta is seriously thinking about joining New York Red Bulls at the end of the season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The veteran defender has just a couple of months left on his deal with the Rossoneri and it looks as though he won’t be signing a contract extension.
This has led to speculations linking him with a move to Juventus, but the player has since rejected the rumours.
Nonetheless, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that New York Red Bulls are now showing interest in the 36-year-old, who is thought to be considering his future.
The MLS side emissaries are expected to arrive in Milano next week to try and persuade the player into moving to America.
The Italian newspaper claims that Nesta is seriously considering a proposal from New York Red Bulls and that he could reach a decision in the near future.
The former Italian international has a house in Miami and goes there every time he gets a break from his duties at Milan.
