Netherlands host the USA in an international friendly, with the Oranje looking to end the season on a high note after finding their form in in their last few games. They struggled immediately after the exit of manager Louis van Gaal to Manchester United, but have picked up their results in the last few months.

USA have a strong squad ahead of tonight’s fixture, and will be in much better condition, given the majority of players are mid-way through their season and match -fit, while Netherlands’ national team are winding down after a gruelling campaign with their respective clubs. Jurgen Klinsmann’s men have been in decent form of late too, so they have a chance of getting a result against their European counterparts.

Netherlands are the stronger side, but they have little other than pride to play for this evening. The Oranje are expected to name to a weakened starting eleven to rest the players that have heavily featured throughout the course of the campaign, while the USA will be strong and hoping to stun the hosts.
