(GSM) – There were no surprises in Wednesday’s Dutch Cup round 4 fixtures as both PSV and AZ defeated their opponents for a spot in the round of sixteen.
PSV hosted amateur side Spakenburg, and needed until the 45th minute for Danny Koevermans to finally break the deadlock.
Orlando Engelaar made it 2-0 seven minutes after the break and Nordin Amrabat added a third in the 65th minute for a 3-0 final result.
AZ faced first division outfit Eindhoven and earned a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Rasmus Elm, Pontus Wernbloom and Ragnar Klavan.
PSV and AZ join sides as NAC Breda and Twente, who secured their spot in the next round on Tuesday.
