According to reports in Italy, Jorge Mendes could end up causing some damage to his relationship with Wolverhampton Wanderers in a big way – by taking Ruben Neves over to Italy to play for Juventus. The Portuguese midfielder has been an absolute revelation ever since he made the jump over to Molineux last year, in a deal that was believed to be worth around £16 million.
He signed a new five year contract in the summer but we all know that won’t mean a thing if the right kind of deal came about for him, which this could well be.
Neves would be linking up with Cristiano Ronaldo who he knows well from his time in the Portuguese national team, and while they aren’t exactly known for being close or anything like that, that kind of player could always serve as a big factor in Neves’ decision. For now, though, he seems happy with Wolves.
