New deal for Benzema at Real Madrid?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Karim Benzema is the next man in line for a new contract at Real Madrid this summer.

The Frenchman is often viewed as one of the most underrated strikers in the game and while that may seem a bit “out there” given his track record, he’s never really been recognised as the all-time great we know him to be.

He’s not really been linked with a move away to any specific club in recent times, but at the very least, this shows Real have the intention of keeping him on board for the next few years – as they should.

Benzema is a veteran in this game and knows what it takes to reach the pinnacle of the sport, and thankfully, Madrid are beginning to understand what exactly it is he brings to the table, which can only mean good things for the club moving forward.
