New Dortmund contract for Sancho

According to a recent report from Bild, Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho has agreed to a new contract with the German giants that is believed to be worth around £190,000 per week. The 19 year old has been turning heads over the course of the last twelve months, both for Dortmund and for England after making his senior debut with the national side.

Sancho has been positioned as the poster boy for all those who say young English players should go abroad in order to experience more first team football, especially if their opportunities are particularly limited in the Premier League.

The expectation has always been that Sancho will eventually return to English football, but it doesn’t appear as if he’s ready to leave Dortmund just yet. Manchester United have made it known that they’d be interested in signing him, but it’ll take quite an offer to lure him away from the German giants now.
