According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Premier League side Manchester United are currently in talks with both Jesse Lingard and Victor Lindelof over the possibility of handing them both new contracts. The pair have two years remaining on their respective deals at Old Trafford, but United want to ensure that they can lock them down to more long term deals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer begins the process of looking ahead to the future.
Lindelof has often received mixed reviews from Manchester United fans for his performances during his spell at the club, and the same can certainly be said for Lingard. The Englishman tends to show flashes of brilliance from time to time, but can often fail to live up to the hype when it matters the most.
Either way, though, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some kind of an announcement being made about these moves within the next few weeks.
