New PSG deal for Neymar?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Neymar could be set to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain – but on one condition.

That condition is simple: PSG are able to secure the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

Neymar has made no secret of the fact that he wants to play with the Argentine again for the first time since their days together at the Nou Camp, but unless the French champions can pull a rabbit out of the hat, it’s hard to see how this is going to come to fruition.

Neymar continues to prove himself as one of the most invaluable players in world football and to PSG specifically, but Messi does appear to be trending in the direction of a switch to Manchester City. Whether or not that happens, though, is something we’ll have to wait and see as we gear up for a dramatic January transfer window.
