According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Mauro Icardi could decide against signing for Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent basis next summer. This news comes after it was revealed that PSG have a £60 million option to purchase the Argentine forward, who joined the French champions on loan in the final few hours of the summer transfer window. They managed to strike a deal with Inter Milan, after months and months of speculation over what Icardi’s next move could possibly be.
Many fans believe that Icardi is going to thrive in France, but as we’ve all come to know about the goalscoring sensation, he isn’t the kind of player whose next move you can predict.
Either way it’s going to be an interesting season for him regardless of whether or not he succeeds or fails, because in both instances, other big European clubs are going to be making their advances.
