Newcastle were awarded a penalty in the final seconds of their match away to Nottingham Forest last week, with the score standing at 1-1. Kieran Trippier stepped up, took the ball and approached the spot, taking plenty of verbal swings from the opposition.
But when referee Paul Tierney finally restored order and the penalty needed taking, instead of doing it himself, the experienced right-back handed the ball to striker Alexander Isak.
Checkmate.
