Newcastle 5/2 to beat West Brom in Wednesday’s Premier League game

Competition: Premier League

Market: Newcastle to beat West Brom

Odds: 5/2 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back for a huge round of midweek fixtures that have football fans hugely excited. With the festive break on the way, what better way to build up towards a huge month of football with even more football. Every team will be well aware of the importance of the three points on offer, be it for a title challenge, or to stave off relegation. The latter is the motive behind Newcastle’s trip to West Brom on Wednesday, with both sides currently struggling.

West Brom have struggled massively this season and they are in real trouble even at this early stage of the season. The Baggies parted company with survival expert Tony Pulis, and they are now left with the tough challenge of replacing their manager as the festive period looms large. West Brom have not won in their last five games, taking just a single point, but that draw came in their last game against Tottenham. Just two wins in 12 games is not good enough for the Premier League stalwarts, and they need to turn things around soon if they are to have any kind of positive season.

Newcastle have been in poor form over their last five games, winning just one and losing their last four in a row. This is a stark contrast to their early-season form,  and before their last four games, they had only lost three times in the league. While neither team is in good form, we are backing Rafa Benitez to turn his side’s fortunes around, with Newcastle 5/2 to win.
