Newcastle United welcome the visit of newly-promoted Watford in the Premier League this weekend, with the Magpies looking for their first win of the campaign. Steve McClaren’s men are bottom of the table after five games, and have picked up just two points for their troubles.

Despite having home advantage, their chances of a win against an in-form Watford are slim given they have failed to score since the opening day of the season, but Newcastle have improved their level of performances in their own backyard without getting a win to show for their efforts.

Watford are no slouches, however. The Hornets are seven places better off than this weekend’s opposition, and are coming off the back of a win against Swansea City. Losing just once this season, the newly-promoted outfit have only picked up one point on the road so Newcastle stand a chance of a result.

Bet 365 are giving odds of 6/4 for the Magpies to come out on top against Watford this weekend, which will be their first Premier League win of 2015/16, and could see them out of the drop zone depending on results.
