Newcastle boss rules out Campbell exit

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew insists he has no plans of letting former Arsenal and Celtic star Sol Campbell leave the club.

The former England international has recently been linked with the likes of former club Arsenal and Scottish giants Celtic.

“I want to keep Sol. He is a giant figure in the game and players can learn from him – even if he does not get in the team,” Pardew told the Sunday Sun.

“He has not been fit and he has not been available since he played against Liverpool, so it has been difficult.

“However, he has looked terrific in recent days.”
