According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Newcastle United have made an offer to Liverpool forward Divock Origi.
The Belgian sensation is set to become a free agent within the next few weeks, with the expectation being that the Reds will not extend his deal given the strength in depth they now have at their disposal at Anfield.
Alas, while the Magpies may feel confident that they can keep him in the Premier League, the belief is that he has already given his word to AC Milan.
Origi has scored some incredibly valuable goals during his time with Liverpool and will forever be remembered as a cult hero.
At the age of 27, though, it’s time for him to move on to pastures new, with a whole host of clubs looking at him as a really valuable option in front of goal – with Wolverhampton Wanderers also throwing their name into the hat.
