Newcastle interested in Milik

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Newcastle United are interested in making a push to try and sign Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik.

While there are still some questions that need to be answered regarding the impending takeover that would give the Magpies the funds necessary to make moves like this, it’s clear to see that there are some exciting times on the horizon for a club that, just a few years ago, were down in the second tier of English football.

Milik is an incredibly underrated forward, and for both club and country, and given Newcastle’s tradition of featuring strong centre forwards in their starting XI, you’d have to imagine fans would be happy with a deal like this.

It sounds like we’re in the preliminary stages of anything getting off the ground, but if there’s still talk of movement in the next few weeks, get ready for things to take off very quickly up north.
