Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could be joining Newcastle United in the summer, according to Daily Express.
The Danish keeper has failed to establish himself as a first team regular at Old Trafford and is looking to leave the Red Devils in search of first team football.
With Manchester United looking to sign Asmir Begovic in the summer, it is becoming clear there is no place for the Dane any more.
The odds are that he will be joining another Premier League club, as Newcastle are rumoured to be interested.
The Magpies could easily stay without Tim Krul at the end of the current campaign and they believe Lindegaard would be a good replacement for the Dutchman.
The 29-year-old, who joined United in a €5 million deal from Aalesund, has made a total of 16 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, while also featuring in three Champions League matches.
