According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are willing to sell Scott McTominay during the summer transfer window.
Ever since coming up through the ranks as a youngster, Scott McTominay has been an important piece of the puzzle for Manchester United. He started off with a really bright run in the first team but after serving alongside Fred in the middle of the park for so long, fans have turned a little bit sour on him.
However, that doesn’t mean the 26-year-old isn’t in high demand.
Newcastle United have reportedly been taking a look at him, with the Magpies clearly seeing some potential in the Scot.
The report seems to indicate that United would be willing to sell if the price is right, with Erik ten Hag likely looking to bring in another midfielder in his place.
McTominay is still a Premier League quality player, but perhaps not at the level many expected.
