Newcastle United have completed the signing of Chelsea outcast Kenedy on a season-long loan.
The North East club, who are preparing for their first season back in the Premier League have offered the Brazilian an escape route after discovering that he was available.
The twenty-one year old caused controversy this summer by posting ill-advised messages on social media while the Blues were on a tour of China.
He moved to Stamford Bridge from Fluminese in the summer of 2015 and made twenty appearances in all competitions during his first season in England.
However, he was loaned out to Watford last season but made just one brief appearance before being sent back to his parent club.
He made one league appearance for Antonio Conte’s side, playing seventy-five minutes against the Hornets in a seven-goal thriller in the penultimate game of the campaign.
Kenedy could make his debut on Sunday when Rafael Benitez’s side host Tottenham Hotspur.
