Newcastle takeover back on?

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, sources close to Mike Ashley have informed SSN that he is attempting to get the sale of Newcastle United back on track.

He is believed to be in constant communication with the PIF fund/Saudi consortium, even though the deal was believed to be dead in the water less than two weeks ago.

The Magpies have been consistently linked with a sale during the last god knows how many years, to the point where many have given up all hope that it’s ever going to happen. Ashley, however, does appear to be serious this time, if only because he knows and understands the financial implication of it getting over the finish line.

Newcastle’s fanbase has been through a whole load of heartbreak in the last decade, and now, they’re ready to try and build themselves back up once again as a force to be reckoned with.
