Canal + has revealed that Lille are prepared to consider an offer from Newcastle for midfielder Florian Thauvin.
After signing the talented midfielder from Bastia in January, les Dogues have seen a number of high-profile sides express interest in the France Under-21 international.
Marseille were believed to be leading the chase, but while Lille were not prepared to sell their prized asset to the Ligue 1 rivals, they seem ready to do business with Newcastle.
It is no secret the Magpies are keen on the 20-year-old and they have been informed an offer in the region of €10 million would prove sufficient to prize Thauvin away from Grand Stade Lille Metropole.
The highly rated footballer was allowed to finish last season at Bastia, which has seen him score a total of 10 goals in 32 league matches for Corsicans.
Thauvin was also in scintillating form at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, netting 3 times in 7 appearances for France.
