Newcastle United are willing to let Callum Wilson leave at the end of the season, according to GiveMeSport. Wilson is out of contract at Newcastle in the summer of 2025, and the Premier League club are reportedly ready to let him go on a free transfer if they are unable to find a replacement.
Wilson is on the sidelines at the moment due to an injury he suffered in pre-season. The English striker is a good player, but he has had injury problems over the past few years. The 32-year-old striker scored nine goals and gave one assist in nine starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season and scored 18 goals and provided five assists in the league in 2022-23.
GiveMeSport has claimed that Newcastle are aware that Wilson has interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Given that the England international striker will be out of contract at the end of the season, he is free to speak to foreign clubs from January and sign a pre-contract.
