Newcastle United will consider selling Bruno Guimaraes in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Bruno has a release clause of £100 million in his contract, and that Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on him.
Bruno is one of the best players in the Newcastle team, but the club’s owners, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) are ready to offload him so that they can use that money to make new signings and make the squad better. The Magpies are aware of adhering to Profit and Sustainability Rules and do not want to fall foul of any regulations.
Newcastle are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 28 matches. Bruno has scored three goals and given seven assists in 40 matches in all competitions for Eddie Howe’s side this campaign.
